How Funds Are Used
Currently used only to run the site (servers and domain). Any surplus would go to animal rescue and protection work.
There are two separate things here, and the tense matters. Now: all funds cover the cost of keeping the site online — domain renewal, server and database costs. Later: if donations exceed those costs, the surplus is intended for animal rescue and advocacy, and the amount and purpose will be published here before it is used.
Financial records are published every quarter on this site and the creator's social media, open to public scrutiny.
By donating you agree to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Whether or not you donate, your remembrance is the greatest gift.
Every Cent, Fully Transparent
We offer two payment methods. Below is the estimated platform fee and net amount you actually deliver, across donation amounts (based on standard rates).
| Donation | Waffo fee | Waffo net | PayPal fee | PayPal net | Cheaper (lower fee) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| $0.10 | $0.30 | -$0.20 | $0.49 | -$0.39 | Waffo |
| $1.00 | $0.34 | $0.66 | $0.52 | $0.48 | Waffo |
| $5.00 | $0.49 | $4.50 | $0.66 | $4.34 | Waffo |
| $10.00 | $0.69 | $9.31 | $0.84 | $9.16 | Waffo |
| $20.00 | $1.08 | $18.92 | $1.19 | $18.81 | Waffo |
| $30.00 | $1.47 | $28.53 | $1.54 | $28.46 | Waffo |
| $50.00 | $2.25 | $47.75 | $2.24 | $47.77 | PayPal |
| $100.00 | $4.20 | $95.80 | $3.98 | $96.02 | PayPal |
| $150.00 | $6.15 | $143.85 | $5.73 | $144.28 | PayPal |
| $200.00 | $8.10 | $191.90 | $7.47 | $192.53 | PayPal |
For small donations, the fixed fee takes a larger share; the larger the amount, the closer the rate is to the percentage. For extremely small amounts (e.g. $0.10), the fee may exceed the donation itself.
